Jessop Jessop Jessop is an up-and-coming London-based jazz sextet comprised of students at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and The Royal Academy of Music. Particularly inspired by composers from the Hard-bop era such as Benny Golson, Cedar Walton and Horace SIlver, as well as the groups led by Art Blakey and Cannonball Adderley, their dedication to swinging hard and each player's personal identity produces music both steeped in tradition yet fresh enough for the modern audience. They have performed at venues including Pizza Express Dean St, Toulouse Latrec, Leadenhall Market and Aldeburgh Festival, and are recording their first live album in early 2018.
